Ben Davies could be about to claim one of Harry Kane’s all-time records at Tottenham Hotspur, following the events of this week.
Tuesday was a very positive day for the Lilywhites in more ways than one as they brushed aside Slavia Prague 3-0 to keep themselves in touching distance of a top-eight spot.
It was also a special day as Spurs fans saw the return of their hero, Heung-min Son, with the Tottenham legend saying goodbye to the supporters in person, six months on from his move to LAFC.
Another positive was the return of the club’s longest-serving player, Ben Davies, who came off the bench to make his first appearance of the season for the Lilywhites, and he is now nearing an impressive record.

Ben Davies is just two away from Harry Kane’s Tottenham record
This was Davies’ 74th European appearance for Spurs, and the defender is fast nearing Harry Kane’s all-time record, according to the club’s official website.
The Welshman was already second in Tottenham’s all-time standings, and he is now just two appearances away from Kane’s record of 76.
Heung-min Son is in third place with 71 European appearances, while another former Spurs captain, Hugo Lloris, is in fourth place with 72.
If Davies stays fit, he could have a real chance of usurping Kane as the record European appearance holder for the North Londoners by the end of the season.
