Harry Kane fails to report for Spurs training for a second day in a row

Harry Kane has failed to report for pre-season training with Tottenham Hotspur for the second day in a row, according to Football.London.

Kane has not handed in a transfer request as of yet, but is yet to inform the club of when he is set to return to Hotspur Way.

The striker was expected to return to Hotspur Way yesterday to undergo coronavirus testing with the plan that he would resume training with the rest of Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad (BBC).

The Athletic have claimed that Kane has no desire to return to the club while chairman Daniel Levy is not prepared to sell the England captain to another Premier League side under any circumstances.

Kane has been on a three-week break following his involvement with England at Euro 2020 and a move away from North London has not materialised as he had hoped.

The 28-year-old is said to be determined to make the move to Premier League champions Manchester City, who are seeking a replacement for Sergio Aguero.

Tottenham are back in pre-season action tomorrow evening when they face rivals, Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge.
