Harry Kane – ‘Good to finish the season on a high’

Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has had a very up and down last few weeks of the season for both club and country.

The forward made it back from his injury in time to face Liverpool in the Champions League final last week, but seemed to suffer from a lack of match sharpness.

Spurs lost the final, and had to make do with the runners up medals in the biggest competition in club football.

Kane then travelled to meet up with the England squad, and was forced to watch from the bench as they kicked off against the Netherlands in the Nations Cup semi-finals.

Harry was eventually subbed on at half time, but England lost the match 3-1, leaving Kane without yet another trophy.

However, the England captain at least got to finish with a medal today, as England beat Switzerland in a penalty shootout to secure third place in the competition.
