Harry Kane has promised to dye hair blond under one circumstance – Says Phil Foden

Phil Foden has revealed that the entire England squad agreed to die their hair platinum blond if they win the European Championships this summer, which would include Three Lions captain Harry Kane.

Foden dyed his hair on the eve of the tournament, looking like a throwback to the Euro 96 haircut sported by Tottenham legend, Paul Gascoigne.

The Man City youngster has now revealed that he told the England squad they had to copy him if they lifted the trophy this summer, with everyone agreeing to those terms.

In 1998, the entire Romania squad did a similar thing by dying their hair platinum blond for the tournament itself. However, it appears that Kane and co will keep things professional until the end of the Euros.

England look on course to qualify from their group after a 1-0 win over Croatia and a 0-0 draw against Scotland, although they will likely need to up their game as they head towards the knockout rounds.

Foden said (TalkSPORT): “You know what I said; if we win it, I told the team they had to get the same haircut as me!

“They all agreed so hopefully if we win it, you will see everyone with the same haircut.

“I think Romania did it didn’t they where they all had the same haircut so if we won it, I would make everyone get the same haircut.”
