The Athletic’s Seb Stafford-Bloor has revealed that Harry Kane will return to London over the coming weeks to say a proper goodbye to his teammates and the staff at Tottenham.
Kane would not have got a chance to say a proper goodbye to his teammates as the deal between Tottenham and Bayern Munich appeared to be finalised on Friday evening, with the striker flying to Germany on Saturday to complete his medical and the transfer.
Harry Kane to return to Tottenham for goodbyes
The 30-year-old would have created many close relationships at the North London side, not only with his teammates but also with the people who work at Spurs, having been at the club since the age of 11.
Stafford-Bloor revealed that Kane sent a group message to the Tottenham squad on completing a move to Bayern but the striker is expected to return to the club soon to say a proper goodbye to everyone at the club.
Kane made his debut for Bayern in their German Supercup clash against RB Leipzig on Saturday, coming on just past the hour mark, but things did not go to plan for the striker as the Bavarian side fell to a 3-0 loss.

Spurs Web Opinion
Kane has never had a massive ego despite being one of the best players in the world and was evidently quite popular in the Tottenham changing room.
Even so, there is no doubt that the striker’s departure would have bought the dressing room closer together as we have seen time and again that players tend to rally together whenever a superstar leaves.
