Harry Kane on why he missed Everton game and how he is feeling

Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has travelled to Serbia with the first-team squad as the club take on Red Star Belgrade tomorrow in the Champions League.

Harry Kane was at the double when the two sides last met in a dominant 5-0 display at the new stadium from Spurs, and he will be looking to do something similar away from home.

A win would put Spurs in a great position in their group, but they must remember that Red Star managed to beat Liverpool at home last season in the same competition.

Kane has confirmed that he missed the Everton match at the weekend through illness, stating that he came down with a virus that kept him from making the trip. Tottenham drew the match 1-1 at Goodison.

However, he assures that he is feeling good again and that he has been back in training since Monday ahead of the Champions League game.

Kane said (Football London): “I feel good. Better than the weekend. I came down with some kind of virus, but I’ve been back in training yesterday and I feel much better.”
