Tottenham Hotspur star, Harry Kane, has a lot to be thankful towards Mauricio Pochettino for during their times in North London together.
Harry Kane first broke into the regular Spurs first-team under Pochettino during the start of his reign in charge of the Lilywhites.
Since then, Kane has gone on to play 268 games for Tottenham, scoring 174 goals for his boyhood club (Wikipedia).
Under the leadership of Pochettino, Harry has become one of the best strikers in world football.
Over the past five years, Kane reached a Champions League Final, has worn the Spurs captain’s armband, was named the captain of England, won two Premier League golden boots, won a World Cup golden boot, and so much more.
Kane penned a heartfelt Twitter letter to Pochettino this morning, thanking the person he labelled as his manager and friend.
He thanked Pochettino for the amazing moments over the past five years and wished him luck in the future.
Gaffer. I’ll be forever thankful to you for helping me achieve my dreams. We’ve had some amazing moments in the last 5 and a half years that I will never forget. You were my manager but my friend as well and I thank you for that relationship. Good luck with your next chapter! ? pic.twitter.com/u64RXV7wd4
