Harry Kane reacts to Heung-min Son Golden Boot and Tottenham’s season

Harry Kane has taken to Instagram to share his thoughts on a dramatic end to the Premier League season which saw his side qualify for the Champions League.

Tottenham travelled to Carrow Road on Sunday afternoon knowing that a positive result would see them return to the top tier of European football next season. Spurs duly obliged, brushing past a lacklustre Norwich with five unanswered goals.

There were braces for both Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-Min, whilst Kane headed home Rodrigo Bentancur’s cute cross to take his Premier League goal tally to 17 this season (Premier League).

Son’s late double saw him become the first Asian player to ever win the English golden boot (Fan Nation Futbol) and Kane was quick to take to Instagram after the game to congratulate his teammate.

Posting to his 12.5 million followers, the England captain posted a picture of the deadly duo with the caption: “This guy 😍 Congrats @hm_son7 very well deserved. Different class this season.”

The 28-year-old followed this up with a second post soon after in which he said: “Some big performances to finish the season on a real high. Thanks to everyone for their support through the ups and downs this season! Champions League nights are back 💪”

Speaking to Standard Sport recently, Kane hinted that he is happy at Spurs and enjoying life under Antonio Conte. Along with these posts and the return of Champions League football, Spurs fans will likely be confident of the striker sticking around.

Spurs Web Opinion

After what was a slow and frustrating start to Kane’s season, it is great to see him finishing the season with the stats that we have come to expect whilst seemingly enjoying his football at N17.

If Spurs are serious about competing for the major honours in the coming years, then keeping Harry happy and rewarding him with ambitious signings is a must in the upcoming window.
