Harry Kane refused to comment on the rumours linking him with a potential move to Bayern Munich in his press conference this afternoon.
The Spurs striker, who has been the subject of transfer speculation yet again this season, simply reiterated that he is fully focussed on doing well for Tottenham, labelling the North Londoners as a ‘top, top club’.
Kane was speaking ahead of Tottenham’s Champions League match against German opposition, Eintracht Frankfurt, and it appears the German media could not resist throwing a Bayern question into the mix.
SportBild (26/09/22 – as relayed by Sport Witness) reported last month that Harry Kane’s agent has ‘already been assured’ by Bayern Munich that an offer will come in the summer if he doesn’t sign a new Spurs contract.
90 min even suggested that Spurs were becoming ‘increasingly concerned’ about the interest coming from Germany.
However, Kane was quick to reassure fans that his mind is totally focused on Tottenham.
He said (Football London): “I’m focused on Tottenham Hotspur and trying to do my best for a top, top club. All my focus is on Tottenham and trying to win with them.”
Spurs Web Opinion:
I would be shocked if Harry Kane started to look outside of England just as he is approaching the Premier League all-time record, as well as numerous Tottenham records. Maybe at the very end of his career, but not now.
