Harry Kane reveals how Dele Alli is doing after being robbed at knife point

Harry Kane has admitted that Dele Alli has been left in shock after his house was robbed in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Two males wearing balaclavas broke into the midfielder’s home and took various items including jewellery and watches before fleeing (Daily Mail).

The 24-year-old is said to have got into an altercation with the culprits and received a minor face injury for his troubles. The culprits haven’t been identified as of yet and the investigation into the incident is currently on-going.

However, the England international took to social media yesterday to confirm that he was okay. Alli is reportedly being supported around the clock by a player liaison officer from the club following the incident (Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick).

Kane revealed that the midfielder was left a bit shaken up by the incident but insisted that he is coping fine. Speaking to Sky Sports, the England captain said: “I text him (Dele) the day after it happened just to see how he was.

“As normal I think he was a bit in shock and a bit angry about the situation but thankfully no one has hurt, no family was hurt, during the process, which is the main thing really.

“I think he’s okay, a little bit shaken up, but I guess he’s getting on with it.”
