Harry Kane has claimed that he shares the same work ethic as his Tottenham boss, Mauricio Pochettino.
The Spurs striker believes that both he and Pochettino are driven to keep working hard to reach the top.
The club are yet to win any silverware since the Argentine took over the managerial reigns in North London, with their last success coming eleven years who when Juande Ramos’ side won the League Cup.
Pochettino has helped to transform the club’s fortunes since he arrived in N17 despite the lack of trophies, has turned his side into title contenders and Champions League regulars.
Tottenham’s only chance of winning a trophy this season would be if they could cause a massive shock by winning the Champions League and must first navigate their way past Manchester City in the quarter-final of the competition.
Kane is taking things one step at a time and will continue to let his ambition to see the glory days return to Spurs burn strong.
“We [him and Pochettino] both want the same things,” Kane told ESPN. “We both want to push and push and push, and work and work.
“We’ll just have to see what happens this season, and go from there.”
