Harry Kane has revealed that Mathys Tel was blown away after he made the move to Spurs and immediately texted him after arriving at Hotspur Way on transfer deadline day.

Mathys Tel will get a chance to sink or swim at Spurs
If Ange Postecoglou was planning on introducing Tel slowly to the cauldron that is the Premier League, he would have to abandon those ideas.
The injury to Richarlison, who now joins Dominic Solanke on the treatment table, means that the Australian will have to rely on the Frenchman to lead the line for his side over the coming weeks.
Spurs fans will be hoping that the teenager can hit the ground running at N17, and Kane is certainly confident that the youngster can thrive at his former stomping ground.

Harry Kane reveals Tel’s reaction to Spurs move
Kane has now revealed that Tel reached out to him after joining Tottenham to admit that he was blown away by the club’s training ground.
The 31-year-old believes that his Bayern teammate is in the right environment to thrive and backed him to showcase his qualities on the biggest stage over the coming months.
The England captain told German outlet SPORT1 (as relayed by talkSPORT): “He asked me [about Tottenham]. When the deal was done, he texted me and told me how great the training ground was. He was very excited.
“I wish Mathys all the best. Hopefully, he gets a lot of playing time. That’s what he needs. He needs to develop and experience the highs and lows on the pitch.
“I know Tottenham well, they will look after him well. Hopefully, he does well there. “He should show what he can do at the highest level.”

Spurs’ season is reliant on Mathys Tel hitting the ground running
Normally, teenagers who come to the Premier League take at least six months (and in many cases much more time) to get used to the pace and intensity of the division.
However, Tottenham cannot afford Tel any such luxury and they need him to have an instant impact if they are to have a respectable end to the season.
The one thing that works to the Bayern loanee’s advantage is that despite being very young, he has now been playing at the highest level for two and a half years, and is used to dealing with the pressure that comes with playing for a big club.
