Harry Kane reveals whether he will take a rest period

Tottenham have come under fire in recent weeks, after succumbing to three successive losses in the Premier League and Champions League.

Spurs started the season well, winning their first three games, including a 3-0 battering of Manchester United at Old Trafford.

However, a shock defeat to Watford after leading 1-0 late on turned Tottenham’s fortune on its head.

An almost identical scenario against Inter Milan last night, as well as another 2-1 loss to Liverpool at the weekend has piled the pressure on Pochettino’s Spurs.

One man who has come under more fire than most is Tottenham star Harry Kane, who many have accused of being tired and burnt out from a long season of football with Spurs and England.

Kane scored two goals in August, breaking his duck after five years, but has failed to find the net in September.

The striker has looked far from his free-scoring form, but insists that he is fully fit, sharp, and ready to go.

The Daily Mail have reported that Kane is privately adamant he doesn’t feel weary, and is not prepared to ask Pochettino for a rest.
