Harry Kane sends message to fans on Twitter after final game of the season

Harry Kane has taken to Twitter to send a message to the Spurs faithful following the 4-2 victory over Leicester City this evening, the club’s final game of the 2020/21 season.

Kane claimed that it was great to finish the campaign with a win but added that it had been a tough season for many reasons. However, he ended with a message of thanks to the fans for the continued support and season awards.

The Spurs striker scored and assisted again today against the Foxes, ensuring that he finished as the Premier League golden boot and playmaker award winner.

However, Tottenham supporters will hope that it isn’t the last they see of Kane in a Lilywhites shirt, with reports claiming that he has asked to leave the club this summer.

Kane also told Gary Neville on The Overlap Podcast that he wants to have a conversation with Daniel Levy about his future because he has reached a crossroads.

Kane tweeted: ‘Great to get a win to finish the season. Been a tough season for lots of reasons but thanks for all the support it’s always appreciated and thanks for the fans awards.’
