Harry Kane sends message to Spurs fans on social media amid exit rumours

Harry Kane’s latest social media post could be a cause for optimism for Spurs fans, with the striker stating that he and his teammates are ‘ramping it up’ ahead of the new season.

Tottenham brushed Shakhtar Donetsk aside 5-1, with the visitors hardly laying a glove on the hosts barring the first 25 minutes of the encounter.

The home side’s second-half performance was stellar, with Kane netting four of the five goals on the day while the man who replaced him, Dane Scarlett, rounded off the scoring for the Lilywhites.

Kane got Spurs underway from the penalty spot on 38 minutes after James Maddison was fouled in the box, and the pair combined once again at the start of the second half, with the England captain heading home the former Leicester star’s inch-perfect cross.

The 30-year-old completed his hattrick on 55 minutes as he slotted the ball home after being played through on goal by Dejan Kulusevski and the striker got his fourth in the 79th minute as he was quick to latch on to a rebound after Monor Solomon’s curled effort was parried away by the goalkeeper.

Following Spurs’ demolition job of Shaktar, Kane took to social media to simply write ‘ramping it up’.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think Spurs fans should be reading too much into this post as it is clear that Kane is keen on making the switch to Bayern if the two clubs can agree on a deal.

However, if a deal does not materialise, there is no doubt that the 30-year-old will remain a model professional and continue banging the goals in.
