Harry Kane has taken to Twitter following Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadum in the North London derby.
Spurs have not won a league game at the Emirates since November 2010 and were pegged back to draw 2-2 having looked like they could be set to take all three points.
Christian Eriksen’s 50th Premier League goal and Harry Kane’s penalty put Mauricio Pochettino’s side 2-0 up only for a defensive lapse from Danny Rose to allow Alexandre Lacazette to pull one back in first-half stoppage time.
In the second half, Kane rattled the inside of the post with a fine bending effort which would have made the score 3-1, but it was Arsenal who found the back of the net when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang took advantage of a lack of communication between Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen to poke the ball beyond Hugo Lloris.
Here’s what Kane had to say on Twitter.
A derby point. Could have been more but take it and move on. Time for @England now. #COYS pic.twitter.com/k8Vq4OFdg0
