Harry Kane has congratulated Son Heung-min on social media after the Tottenham captain made his 400th appearance for the club against West Ham United.
Son has now been at Spurs for nine seasons and he is now at the stage of his career where one milestone keeps tumbling after the other.
With his goal against Luton Town last Saturday, the South Korean moved up to fifth place in Tottenham’s all-time goalscoring charts, which is a monumental achievement considering that he has not played as a striker for the majority of his time at the club.
Son crossed another significant milestone in the London derby on Tuesday, making his 400th appearance in a Lilywhite shirt across all competitions since his move from Bayer Leverkusen back in 2015.

The forward took to Instagram after the game to admit that he is ‘proud’ to have played 400 matches for Tottenham, adding that he feels ‘joy and pride’ when he looks back on his nine years at the club.
Kane, who played alongside Son for the vast majority of his 400 appearances at Spurs, commented: ‘Congrats brother’.

Son’s words are genuine and one can tell that he loves the club as much as fans do. The way he is going at the moment, there is no reason why the South Korean cannot surpass 500 comfortably.
