Harry Kane shares his thoughts on social media after Spurs beat Aston Villa

Harry Kane has taken to social media to share this reaction after Tottenham Hotspur beat Aston Villa this afternoon.

The striker was named in Nuno Espirito Santo’s starting eleven for the visit of Dean Smith’s side after coming off the bench in midweek to bag a hat-trick in the win against NS Mura in the Europa Conference League.

Kane could not replicate his form in front of goal, having gone close on a number of occasions but was not able to find the back of the net.

The England captain has now gone six Premier League appearances without a goal for the first time since the opening six games of the 2015-16 season.

Tottenham secured a 2-1 victory with a goal in each half from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and a Matt Targett own-goal to end their recent miserable run of form in the top flight.

Kane described picking up all three points as an important win following the poor performance in the North London derby at Arsenal last weekend with a post on his Twitter account.
