Harry Kane sums up Spurs’ Europa League victory in just two words

Harry Kane took to Twitter to share his reaction after Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the next round of the Europa League.

Jose Mourinho’s side made the trip to Northern Macedonia to take on domestic league leaders KF Shkendija and started the game strongly but were unable to kill the tie when Erik Lamela found the back of the net after just four minutes of action.

Tottenham’s inability to add a second came back to haunt them fifteen minutes into the second half when Valmir Nafiu unleashed a right-footed rocket beyond the helpless Joe Hart to give the home side belief that they were still in the tie.

Mourinho wasted no time in making some changes when he brought on Kane and Giovani Lo Celso in place of Harry Winks and Dele Alli.

Kane netted for the second game in a row to put the tie out of each of Shkendija to extend Spurs’ advantage following Heung-min Son’s goal nine minutes earlier (transfermarkt).

The England international summed up what was important following the 3-1 win with his summary on Twitter.
