Harry Kane takes to Twitter ahead of Conference League clash

Harry Kane has taken to social media to reveal that he is hard at work at Hotspur Way ahead of Tottenham’s Europa Conference League playoff against Pacos De Ferriera on Thursday.

With just a week left until the transfer window slams shut, there remains a question mark over whether Kane will remain a Spurs player come September 1.

Reports now indicate that Daniel Levy has no intention of lowering his valuation and might even resist a £150m offer from Manchester City at this stage of the window.

Kane came off the bench in Tottenham’s 1-0 Wolves on Sunday and Nuno Espirito Santo insisted after the game that the striker is getting up to speed with his fitness.

It remains to be seen if the England captian will make his first start of the season for the club on Thursday as Nuno’s men look to overturn a 1-0 deficit against the Portuguese side.

Kane’s latest social media post suggests that he has a good chance of starting, with the 28-year-old posting a picture of himself in training with his Spurs teammates along with the caption: “Working”.

With no sign of a final bid from City yet, Kane looks increasingly likely to stay. Thursday’s clash potentially presents him with a good oppurtunity to get up to speed fitness-wise and open his goalscoring account for the campaign.
