Harry Kane takes to Twitter to comment on hamstring injury for the first time

Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane, still seems in good spirits despite his injury that saw him hobble down the tunnel early against Southampton this week.

The Spurs captain stretched to tap home what would have been the equaliser for his side, but it was ruled offside by the linesman.

Kane also managed to injure his hamstring while stretching for the ball, and was back in the injury room by the time VAR checked and confirmed the goal as offside.

The Sun have reported that Kane will likely be out injured for the next four to six weeks with the latest in a long run of injuries for the forward.

Perhaps the only saving grace is that Kane did not damage his ankle ligaments again, something that has plagued his career at times.

Kane took to Twitter today to claim that tough times do not last, but tough people do.

We wish you a speedy recovery, Harry!
