Harry Kane: Where the Spurs striker stands in the Golden Boot race

Despite losing the game 2-1, there was one major positive to take from the Burnley game this weekend for Tottenham, the return of Harry Kane.

Kane was out with an ankle injury, that he sustained against Man United, for around six weeks.

Despite initially being given early March as a potential return date, Kane once again defied expectation and came back fit and firing against the clarets this weekend.

Even though Tottenham lost, Kane was able to get on the score sheet, and will surely be vital in upcoming games against the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, and Borussia Dortmund.

Spurs remain outsiders for the Premier League and Champions League this season, but Kane will also have his eyes on a personal goal, the Golden Boot.

Kane has already won the award twice in his career, and luckily for him, his competitors failed to pull away during his absence.

Mo Salah and Sergio Aguero currently lead the way on 17, with Kane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both on 15.

It seems to be between these four for the prestigious award.
