Harry Kane’s valuation drops in the latest CIES report

Harry Kane’s value has dropped by £33.2 million (€37 million) since January, according to a CIES Football Observatory report.

At the beginning of the year, Kane’s original value by CIES was €155.2 million but has plummeted to €118.7 million within the opening months of 2020.

The loss of value is partly because the 26-year-old has failed to feature for Spurs since suffering a hamstring injury against Southampton on New Year’s Day together with the fact that the football season has been suspended since mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, Kane has since recovered from his latest injury and should go on to feature in Spurs’ final nine games of the campaign.

Back in March, Kane revealed he would consider leaving Tottenham if the team does not make progress of matching his ambition of winning trophies. (Telegraph)

Manchester United were linked with a move for the academy product if he was to leave North London for a world-record £200m fee. (Express)
