Harry Redknapp was pleased with Tottenham’s performance in the 3-0 win against Hull City in the final of the Premier League Asia Trophy.

Sky Man of the Match Robbie Keane (Modric will felt hard done-by) bagged a brace, including one from the penalty spot after Defoe went over in the box – along with a late finish from Aaron Lennon meant that Spurs finished the tournament without conceeding a goal.

Redknapp said: “It was good.  The boys played well in both games, they performed well and that was good.  We’re off to Hong Kong now for another game.  It has been a hectic schedule, but they’ve coped as well as can be expected and they’ve done great.

“I thought Wednesday we played excellent against West Ham and today again we played some good stuff at times.

When asked about the upcoming match in Hong Kong, Redknapp added: “We’re going to give all the lads who haven’t had a game and give a few of the boys a rest obviously.  They’ve had a tough schedule with two games at Wembley, three games in Asia.  It has been a very tiring time for them here.  It is not ideal, but we’ll cope with it.”
