Harry Redknapp explains why he does not expect Tottenham to get their long-overdue home Premier League win this afternoon.
At the start of last month against Man United, it looked like Spurs had finally got the monkey off their back and secured three points at home when Richarlison scored in the dying stages of the game.
However, the Red Devils levelled in stoppage time to salvage a point, leaving Frank’s men frustrated.
Subsequently, the Lilywhites also lost at their home ground to Fulham last week, and the tensions boiled over from the stands, with the relationship between the Tottenham players and supporters now deteriorating.

Harry Redknapp expects Brentford to hold Tottenham to a draw
Spurs are still winless at home in the Premier League since the opening day of the season, and that is something they will be desperate to put right against the Bees this afternoon.
However, Redknapp expects Frank’s former team to hold the North London side to a draw, suggesting that the visiting side will fancy their chances of walking away with a result.
The former Spurs manager told BetVictor: “Spurs got a point at Newcastle, but I’m not quite sure how they did it! Romero is such a leader in this side and yet again, he delivered for them. The performances need to improve though, and fast!
“Brentford hung on in there at Arsenal, but truth be told, you never really fancied them to get anything from the game. Brentford will fancy their chances after seeing Fulham come here and win last week. I’m going for the draw. 1-1.”
Other pundits agree with Redknapp about Spurs’ chances against Brentford
Redknapp is not alone in his prediction of a score draw, with Chris Sutton also predicting a 1-1 score between Tottenham and Brentford.
Paul Merson also expects the Bees to take a point against Spurs, and he suggested that anything but a win will pile immense pressure on Frank.
Opta’s Supercomputer still thinks Tottenham are favourites against Brentford, but it is fair to say that not many Spurs fans will be confident of a victory, given their side’s shocking home record throughout 2025.
