Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is currently appearing in the ITV show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and is winning a new fanbase for his hilarious stories.

Redknapp was at it again on Saturday evening’s show at 9:30pm when he told a story involving ex-Spurs player Roman Pavlyuchenko which involved a joke with a sexual connotation.

He said: “I told Pav [Pavlyuchenko] I’d pull him off at half-time if he wasn’t performing, he said he only got a bit of Orange in Russia.”

Pavlyuchenko signed for Spurs for a fee in the region of £12million (Guardian) from Spartak Moscow in August 2008 to help try and fill the void left by Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov who departed White Hart Lane for Liverpool and Manchester United, respectively.

During his time at the club, the Russian international scored 21 goals in 78 Premier League appearances after being recruited by Juande Ramos.

Now aged 36, he can be found playing his football in the Russian lower leagues for FC Znamya Noginsk.
