Tottenham Hotspur are through to the Champions League final, it still does not get old typing out that sentence.
Spurs didn’t just come from behind against Ajax, they dragged themselves from the rubble of a hard-fought Champions League campaign to silence Amsterdam.
Tottenham were 3-0 down on aggregate at half-time, with only a faint dream of making it to Madrid.
However, three superb finishes from Lucas Moura saw the phoenix rise from the ashes, as Spurs booked their place alongside Liverpool in an all-Prem final.
Spurs will now be desperate to get their best players back for the match on June 1st, with Harry Kane and Harry Winks missing out against Ajax through injury.
However, Harry Winks may still be hopeful of a return, despite undergoing groin surgery just weeks ago. Winks revealed after the surgery that he hoped it would not be the end to his season (Independent).

Im absolutely gutted that I’ve needed to have surgery at such a vital point in our season. We’ve tried everything to avoid this action but I’m very hopeful that this is not the end of the season for me yet in what has been a great year for the team and me personally. I will be doing everything in my power to get back as quickly as possible. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes too, it really means a lot. #coys ?
He has since reacted to the Tottenham win over Ajax with a celebratory Instagram message, as well as a series of eye emojis under the date of the final.
