Harry Winks shares the mood inside the Spurs dressing room amidst transfer speculation

The European transfer window still being open has certainly proven to be a distraction for Tottenham Hotspur, with Mauricio Pochettino admitting that his players are currently unsettled (Sky Sports).

A number of players have been linked with a potential exit from North London ahead of the September 2nd deadline including Christian Eriksen, Serge Aurier and Victor Wanyama.

Midfielder Harry Winks was asked if any speculation over the future of his team mates has made its way into the dressing room at Hotspur Way, with the England international insisting that the players are instead focusing on playing football.

Mauricio Pochettino has tinkered with his side over the opening three matches with has seen Christian Eriksen benched for the fixtures against Aston Villa and Newcastle United while experienced central defender Jan Vertonghen is yet to play a minute.

“Not really, no one has really taken notice of that, our focus is just on every game we have and every training session we have,” he told AOL.

“We don’t think about that.”

When probed if Eriksen remains fully committed to the cause whilst still at Tottenham, Winks added: Yeah, of course. Every player is 100 per cent committed to the club, every player wants to do well and do big things at Tottenham and that will never change.”
