Some Spurs could hide their excitement after they picked up on the fact that rumoured target Leon Bailey was in London over the weekend thanks to the location shown on an Instagram post.
The 22-year-old was one of the most sought after young forwards in Europe not too long ago but his stock has arguably fallen on the back of a season that has been interrupted by injuries.
Tottenham are reportedly interested in the Jamaican international with reports claiming that Bayern Leverkusen are prepared to let him leave for around €40million (Sport 1).
Bailey’s agent has also admitted that the Bundesliga club will allow the player to leave if their asking price his met.
Some Spurs fans believe that the club could be pulling off a deal for the Leverkusen star under the wraps just like the Steven Bergwijn deal back in January.
They could not help but be excited to see the winger check-in from London on social media on the back of Spurs being made the favourites by the bookies to snap him up.

For all we know, Bailey could have just been to London on a holiday or to visit friends or family. In fact, there have really been no heavy links to the winger recently. I do not think it is possible to keep a deal like that under the wraps these days.
While the Bergwijn transfer in January did move quickly, news of the deal was leaked in the Dutch press shortly after we made our approach. I thus highly doubt we are anywhere close to pulling off a deal for the Leverkusen star.
