Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to Antonio Conte’s team selection for this afternoon’s match against Chelsea.
Conte takes his unbeaten Premier League record as Tottenham manager to Stamford Bridge, having not tasted defeat in nine Premier League games while Chelsea have failed to win any of their last four top flight outings.
Form against Chelsea isn’t exactly on Tottenham’s side, having already lost all three matches against their rivals in all competitions this season, including twice this month in the Carabao Cup Cup semi-final.
No manager to have previously taken charge of Chelsea in the Premier League has won against the Blues at Stamford Bridge in the competition (D7 L13). Spurs boss Antonio Conte will be the eighth different manager to try, with each of the last three losing on their first attempt (Mourinho, Benítez, Ancelotti).
Conte has made four changes following the win at Leicester with Doherty, Dier, Sessegnon and Bergwijn coming in for Royal, Skipp, Reguilon and Moura.
This is what some fans have had to say about the side which takes to the field at Stamford Bridge.
Lo Celso, Ndombele and Dele nowhere to be seen. Over £100m of midfielders can’t even make the squad

I'll keep quiet for now obviously going for the 30% possession tactic that worked so well in the 2 legs of the semi final against them 😏

Reguilon Skipp Lucas all on the bench. Doherty after one good half. Our only CDM on the bench. Tanganga costed us a few goals lately. Conte better have another masterclass planned cause this is a Chernobyl type lineup

Let’s try not to concede since we have 6 defenders on the pitch 😂🤦♂️
