The Tottenham Hotspur players finally got to walk out and play in the brand new stadium last week, as they hosted and defeated Crystal Palace.
It wasn’t Spurs at their best, but goals from Heung Min Son and Christian Eriksen were enough to seal all three points.
Tottenham fans will be hoping that the world class stadium, along with the training facilities, will be enough to draw in some new top talent, as well as retaining their current stars.
Some supporters now believe they have heard the first piece of proof to back up this fantasy, as Son and Eriksen were seen leaving the pitch together after the win on Wednesday night.
If you listen carefully, some believe you can hear Sonny ask Eriksen ‘Sign new contract?’
You can then most definitely hear Eriksen reply ‘yeah, yeah. Of course, I think, I hope.’
