Now Hazard is keen on United

White Hart Lane - Tottenham Hotspur Football News

It seems as if Eden Hazard is angling for a move after he publically praised Sir Alex Ferguson.

Earlier this week Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admitted that he is keen on bringing the Beglian playmaker to the Lane and ironically feared that he would lose out to Manchester United or Manchester City.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was in attendance to watch Hazard in Lille’s 2-1 defeat at the weekend, something which has gone down well with the 21-year-old.

Hazard is thought to fetch a price tag of around £30million and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is thought to be prepared to splash the cash for the highly rated youngster.

Hopefully it’s not another case of us missing out another high profile player – who in turn is only using us to angle a move to another club.

When asked if a move to Old Trafford would interest him, Hazard told La Voix du Nord: “Of course, this a club that excites anyone.

“For now my focus is on Lille but yes, it is a pleasure to be watched by one of the best coaches in the world, if not the best.”

  1. Look at last seasons Jan trans window, we failed to add to a really piss poor strike force, that finished on 12 goals combined, and finished out of the top four. The Russian`s panicked and spent big in Torres, the Bindippers did likewise, OK! They didn`t set the world on fire but, the ambition and sight is comendable. We still have the likes of Jenas, Bentley, Dos Santos and any other shrapnel you care to name on our books, then we add gnikcuf Saha to the list. Not exactly PL champion material is it? We are going to look like gnikcuf mugs again, after all the hype and our somewhat clear advantage of a ten point lead over our rivals, only to be decreased by ONE point, we`ll be lucky to sign the likes of Schoels for a final day pay off come end of season.
