‘He is always injured’ – Jose Mourinho sounds fed up with Ndombele problems

Tottenham Hotspur lost another match in the Premier League today as Southampton outplayed them from start to finish, the final score being 1-0.

However, to rub salt in the wounds for Spurs, both their record signing Tanguy Ndombele and their top goalscorer Harry Kane were forced off injured during the match.

This is the latest in a long run of injuries for Ndombele since he joined Tottenham back in the summer from Lyon after impressing last season (TransferMarkt).

Ndombele missed the third and fourth games of the season with a hamstring problem, as well as the Burnley and Wolves matched in December, and then the Brighton game last week too.

The Frenchman only last around ten minutes today against the Saints before he went down and was quickly replaced by Giovani Lo Celso.

Jose Mourinho now sounds fed up with Ndombele’s injury problems, claiming that the new signing is always injured and has been since the start of the season.

He said (Football London): “He’s always injured. He’s injured, he’s not injured, he plays one match. This is the same since the beginning of the season.”
