‘He should go now’ – Some fans are furious after defeat against Manchester United

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to voice their displeasure after watching their side lose at home to Manchester United.

Spurs started the match as the liveliest of the two teams and were unable to make any early opportunities count, with Heung-min Son having the best chance to score.

Cristiano Ronaldo on his first visit to the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium punished a piece of poor positional play by Ben Davies to get behind the Welshman and volley the ball back across goal out of the reach of Hugo Lloris to find the far corner.

Cristian Romero, who had a goal ruled out for offside would have thought moments later that he was about to equalise from a corner, only to see Ben Davies get his head to the ball to spoil what looked to be a certain goal.

United added a second on 64 minutes after Oliver Skipp was robbed of possession which allowed Ronaldo to play in Edinson Cavino to fire home and Marcus Rashford rubbed salt into the wounds with a third five minutes from time.

The North London faithful voiced their displeasure when Nuno Espirito Santo decided to bring off Lucas Moura instead of Giovani Lo Celso in what could be a key moment in the fanbase turning on their head coach.

Here’s a selection of reaction from some Spurs fans.
