Former Udinese player Bram Nuytinck has revealed his experience of working with now-Tottenham interim Igor Tudor after the Croat was brought to the club to guide them to safety in the Serie A.
The new Tottenham Hotspur interim head coach’s CV is very unique compared to most managers in the game, as he does not tend to stay at clubs for too long.
Despite his vast experience as a head coach, the 47-year-old has rarely ever lasted more than a season and has often been brought into a firefight amidst a crisis.
Johan Lange has said that Tudor’s experience in making an immediate impact at clubs made him the right candidate for Tottenham, and the Lilywhites will be hopeful that the Croat can once again pull off what he has done repeatedly across his career.

Bram Nuytinck reveals Tottenham boss Igor Tudor ‘shocked’ the Udinese squad
Nuytinck confessed that he did not have a particularly fruitful time individually under Tudor when he arrived at Udinese.
However, the Dutch centre-back revealed that he and his teammates needed to be shocked in order to ensure they did not go down. That is certainly something Tottenham are in need of.
When asked about working with Tudor, Nuytinck told Gianluca di Marzio: “Even in Udine, I had a difficult time. With Tudor, who coached us twice, we never really clicked. The first time, in 2018, he shouted a lot, he was harsh. I remember an argument with Seko Fofana in training. He sent him off the pitch.
“The team needed a shock. He came on with four games to go, and we were in difficulty. At the time, I didn’t understand it, but over time I’ve come to terms with it. In the end, we saved ourselves; he left and came back the following year, in similar circumstances. Same script: tough approach and safety.”
Spurs squad could use a shock from Tudor
Tudor admitted that he was very angry with some aspects of Tottenham’s performance against Arsenal following his side’s 4-1 defeat in the North London derby.
Additionally, the Croatian coach revealed that he had told the Spurs players they need to work much harder when they return to training at Hotspur Way.
It does not seem like the 47-year-old will mince his words with the squad, and one would hope that his honesty and harshness would serve as the kick up the backside that the Tottenham players need.
