Some Tottenham fans on social media have been left extremely concerned after reports emerged that Hugo Lloris had rejected a new initial contract offer from the club.
Lloris has been in fantastic form since returning from his injury lay off at the start of last year having dislocated his elbow at Brighton in October 2019.
Since Mauricio Pochettino’s arrival at Paris Saint-Germain, reports have claimed that the Argentine wants to take the Spurs captain to the French capital.
However, it has been suggested that Tottenham are desperate to hold on to their number one.
The 33-year-old has a year and a half left on his current deal in North London and The Athletic reported last week that Spurs have offered the veteran a new deal.
However, Football Insider has revealed that Lloris rejected the first offer from Spurs amid strong interest from PSG.
The update has some Spurs fans worried that the experienced shot-stopper would want to see out the latter years of his career in France.

Lloris’ relationship with Pochettino could tempt him to potentially make the switch to Paris but the Frenchman has proved his loyalty to Tottenham in the past and I believe he will sign a new deal with the club if a suitable contract is on the table.
