‘He will go to England’ – Agent predicts Tottenham could win race for Dusan Vlahovic

Italian agent Beppe Accardi has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could complete a deal for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic before the end of the month.

Over the last week, Arsenal have been installed as the favourites to snap up Vlahovic, with the Gunners allegedly not put off by Fiorentina’s bumper price tag.

Football.London claimed this week that while the Gunners are best positioned to complete a move for the centre-forward in January, Spurs remain in the race for the 21-year-old.

The report suggested that the Lilywhites were only looking to complete a summer deal, with the club’s managing director of football Fabio Paratici looking to use his positive relationship with Vlahovic’s representatives to seal the transfer.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina director Joe Barone has insisted that the Serie A club have not received any offers for the strikers so far.

Accardi has now asserted that Vlahovic could leave the Viola in January, with the agent suggesting the striker could end up at Spurs.

He told TuttoMercatoWeb: “The last ten days something will move. A lot has already been done, Piatek at Fiorentina for example was a good operation, also considering the fact that Vlahovic will leave.

When asked where Vlahovic could end up, Accardi responded: “I believe he will go to England. Tottenham could go.”

Spurs Web Opinion

It is possible that Accardi, through his connections, knows something about the Vlahovic saga that others do not. However, I find it quite implausible that none of the major outlets have picked up on Tottenham’s alleged January pursuit of the 21-year-old, with most sources suggesting that the Lilywhites are pushing for a summer deal.
