‘He will move’- Spurs-linked striker’s team-mate tips him to join big club

Victor Osimhen’s Nigerian international teammate, Moses Simon has claimed that it is only a matter of time before the Lille star moves to a bigger club.

Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for Osimhen (Sky Sports), who has been prolific in front of goal for Lille this season.

The 21-year-old has not only shown that he knows where the back of the net is, but his impressive holdup play and strength has also caught the eye.

Asidefrom Spurs, the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona (Le10Sport), Manchester United (Le 10 via Inside Football), Arsenal, and Manchester City (Le Quotidien du Foot) have all been linked with a move for the striker.

Spurs reportedly made a £62million offer for the Nigerian international, which is also said to have been matched by Liverpool (Radio Kiss Kiss via Area Napoli).

Lille president, Gerard Lopez, has confirmed that the Ligue 1 side have received offers for the striker (Daily Mail).

Simon has hailed Osimhen’s quality and backed him to take a step up from Lille.

Speaking about the striker’s future, the Levante player told Tribal Football: “We all know, Victor is a good player.

“He did well in Belgium with Charleroi and he is still doing well in Ligue 1.

“Still very young, strong, a very good striker, a born goal poacher. If he continues to do well, he will move to a bigger club.”

Spurs Web Opinion

Osimhen is an unbelievable prospect and I personally rate him even higher than the likes of Erling Haaland due to his all-round ability. While I do believe he can play alongside Kane, I do not expect the striker to come to Spurs with the England captain still around.
