Some Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to react to the recent Marcel Sabitzer transfer links after the RB Leipzig midfielder starred once again in the Champions League quarter-finals.
TalkSPORT journalist, Alex Crook reported this week that Tottenham are looking to pull off the signing of Sabitzer this summer.
Many Spurs fans will remember that the Austrian international tore the Lilywhites apart across two legs in the Champions League knockouts this season.
It was reported back in April that Mourinho was a fan of the attacking midfielder and wanted to bring him to North London in the future (Calcio Mercato).
However, other reports, such as a recent one from BILD, have slapped a £45m price tag on Sabitzer’s head, meaning that Spurs may have to shell out big.
Sabitzer has scored 16 goals and assisted 11 more across all competitions in 2019/20 (TransferMarkt).
While some Spurs fans lauded the signing of Sabitzer, others pointed out that other positions were in need of more urgent attention.
