Fabrizio Romano has even his ‘here we go’ catchphrase to claim that Tottenham Hotspur have reached a full agreement to sign Udinese defender Destiny Udogie.
The Italian transfer expert took to Twitter to reveal that personal terms have been agreed with the transfer fee in excess of €20million (£16.8million).
The 19-year-old was wanted by Spurs’ managing director of football, Fabio Paratici and will remain at the Serie A outfit for the current campaign.
Tottenham struck a similar agreement last summer with Metz when they signed Pape Matar-Sarr before allowing him to spent the season with his former club.
Manchester City and Brighton were both also said to be keen on the Italian Under-21 international (Sky Sports).

This is another smart signing for the future by Tottenham with Ryan Sessegnon and Ivan Perisic currently occupying the left-wing back role in Antonio Conte’s side, it makes perfect sense for Udogie to continue his footballing experience in Italy for the next year.
