‘Here we go’ – Fabrizio Romano confirms ‘full agreement’ in place for Spurs defender

Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to give Sergio Reguilon’s proposed move to Atletico Madrid his famous ‘here we go’ catchphrase as confirmation of his belief that the deal is about to be announced.

Romano revealed that the left wing-back will move back to his hometown city on loan for the remainder of the campaign which does not include an option to make the deal permanent.

The Spaniard had been frozen out of Antonio Conte’s plans having not been involved in any aspect of pre-season or the opening set of Premier League fixtures and has been training apart from the rest of the Italian’s squad (GiveMeSport).

Reguilon had also been linked with moves to Lazio and Fulham, however, it appears that Atletico have won the race for his signature (Daily Mail).

With the transfer window closing on Thursday, it is no surprise to hear that Reguilon is on the verge of sealing his exit albeit temporarily. Hopefully the Spaniard can impress during his stint back in La Liga to allow Spurs to recoup as much of a fee as possible next summer.
