Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Tottenham Hotspur’s managerial pursuit of Antonio Conte.
Romano has taken to Twitter to provide his famed ‘here we go’ catchphrase and revealed that a verbal agreement has been reached between the former Inter Milan boss and the North Londoners and he will sign a contract until 2023 on Tuesday.
Nuno Espirito Santo was dismissed earlier on Monday in the wake of the 3-0 defeat to Manchester United having taken over from Jose Mourinho when was appointed as his successor in June.
Conte, who won league titles with Juventus, Chelsea and Internazionale, left Inter in May over their plan to sell players to the tune of up to £70million during the summer transfer window (Sky Sports).
