Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to share his understanding of the contractual details of Tottenham Hotspur’s expected move for Pierluigi Gollini.
Romano has revealed that the Atalanta goalkeeper will make the move on loan until next year, which includes the option for Spurs to extend the deal by a further twelve months and also an option to make the deal permanent for €15m (£12.9m).
There is also the potential for Tottenham to have the obligation to sign the 26-year-old if certain targets are met within the loan agreement.
The 26-year-old has previous experience of playing with England having spent time in the academy set up at Manchester United and also made 20 appearances with Aston Villa during the 2016/17 campaign (transfermarkt).

The fact that Gollini will be arriving on a loan deal initially is a no brainer to see if he has the ability to succeed Hugo Lloris for the number one jersey with a minimal outlay of funds.
