Another senior Tottenham Hotspur player is now set to follow Cristian Romero and Djed Spence through the exit door at Hotspur Way.
Spurs are continuing to rebuild their squad and still have some work to do in the final two weeks of the transfer window.
The club managed to finalise the sales of both Cristian Romero and Djed Spence over the past few days, with the pair joining Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan, respectively.
`Now, the Lilywhites have agreed a deal to sell another wantaway star to a different Serie A side after months of speculation.

Tottenham accept Juventus’ offer for Guglielmo Vicario
Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Spurs have accepted Juventus’ latest proposal for Guglielmo Vicario, with the journalist giving his ‘here we go’ seal of approval to the transfer.
He asserted that the deal to take the goalkeeper to Turin is an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy, with no mandatory purchase clause included in the transfer.
Romano wrote on X: “Juventus agree deal to sign Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham, here we go! Spurs accept loan proposal with buy option clause – not mandatory. Vicario wanted the move and leaves THFC today. New goalkeeper for Juventus.”
According to journalist Romeo Agresti, Juve’s option to buy the Tottenham number one is worth just €10m (£8.5m). While that seems low, it may be down to the fact that the goalkeeper will have just one year left on his Spurs contract next summer.
Why loaning out Vicario may work in Spurs’ favour
It was reported earlier this summer that Tottenham wanted £20m for Vicario, but it has become clear that no club is willing to pay that for the 29-year-old, given his form last season.
Even though the former Empoli man struggled to cope with the physicality of the Premier League at times, there is no doubt that he is an excellent shot-stopper and possesses leadership qualities.
If Vicario can showcase his qualities at the Allianz Stadium this season, Spurs will be in a much better position to demand a decent fee for him next summer even if Juve do not exercise their option to buy.
