Here’s a list of free agents Spurs could sign this summer

Tottenham have sent out a serious statement of intent to the rest of Europe by securing the signing of Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, while also managing to add Leeds United winger Jack Clarke, who has subsequently be loaned back to the Championship club (BBC).

If reports in the press are to be believed, more signings are expected to come through the door at Tottenham before the close of the window, with the likes of Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos (Sky Sports) and Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo (Calcio Mercato) said to be interesting the club.

Since Spurs have spent a considerable amount on Ndombele, and their other targets are also likely to require a major outlay, the club might be forced to settle for alternative options in a few positions.

For example, Spurs are said to be looking at Brazilian legend Dani Alves, who has seen his contract with PSG run out, as they seek to bring in reinforcements at right-back (Daily Express).

According to Football.London, here’s a list of prominent European players other than Alves, who will also become free agents this summer:

Andrea Bertolacci (CM)

Ignazio Abate (RB)

Markel Susaeta (RW)

Filipe Luis (LB)

Juanfran (RB)

Thomas Vermaelen (CB)

Franck Ribery (LW)

Nemanja Radoja (CM)

Mario Balotelli (ST)

Yacine Brahimi (LM)

Hatem Ben Arfa (CAM)

Spurs Web Opinion

It is extremely unlikely that Tottenham would be interested in any of those players as Pochettino has shown that he would rather not sign any players instead of getting somebody in just to make up the numbers. We at Spurs Web don’t think any of these players are good enough to deserve a place in the current Tottenham squad.
