Here’s how much Spurs players will earn if they win the Champions League

Tottenham overcame Manchester City over two legs to reach the semi final of the Champions League against all odds.

Even the most optimistic of Spurs fans wouldn’t have given the side any chance of progressing into the final four of Europe’s premier club competition when Mauricio Pochettino’s side looked dead and buried three games into the competition.

However, Spurs miraculously qualified from the group and have since then eliminated Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City from the competition, to set up a semi final clash against Ajax.

Tottenham now find themselves with a realistic shot at being crowned the champions of Europe.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Tottenham’s first-team squad will split a £5million bounty between them in the event they emerge victorious in the final at Madrid.

The report claims that Spurs, like most clubs, divide their club bonuses in a way where players stand to earn more if they perform well.

It is claimed that the players have so far earned a bonus of around £2million after reaching the semifinal and stand to gain another £3million if they go all the way.
