‘He’s good enough’ – Man United legend wants to see Spurs star at Red Devils

Manchester United legend, Ji-Sung Park has argued that Heung-min Son is good enough to play for the Red Devils.

The former South Korean star claimed he would love to see another player from his home nation pull on the red of Manchester United in the near future.

Park named Son as his top choice to excel at the Theatre of Dreams, although he added the only issue would be getting the number 7 shirt off Cristiano Ronaldo.

Failing a big-money move for Son, Park said either Hwang Hee-chan from Wolves or Lee Kang-in from Mallorca would be good prospects for Man United.

Heung-min Son recently signed a new long-term contract with Tottenham, keeping him at the club until 2025.

The 29-year-old has managed 114 goals and 67 assists in 299 games across all competitions for Spurs since signing from Bayer Leverkusen back in 2015.

Park told Goal: “He [Son] has already proved himself in the Premier League and I believe he’s good enough to do very well at United.

“The only minor issue would be he may not get his favourite No.7 shirt as Ronaldo is already there!

“But if I had to pick someone other than Son, I would say either Hwang Hee-chan from Wolves or Mallorca’s Lee Kang-in, who both have good potential as players.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

Sorry Park but I think the only issue there would actually be the huge price tag and the fact that Son has just signed a new Spurs contract. The South Korean star will be seeing out the rest of his peak years in North London.
