Speaking to the press about all things Tottenham Hotspur, Dejan Kulusevski has been praising his teammate Harry Kane, not only for his mentality but for his loyalty to the club, too.
Kulusevski is a little over a year into his Tottenham career, having joined from Juventus on an 18-month loan deal in January 2022.
After an incredible start to his time with Spurs last term, Kulusevski has found this campaign far more difficult and has failed to capture the form he displayed previously.
One player who is not struggling this season is Kane, who has been enjoying a prolific campaign despite Spurs’ troubles as a team.
The 29-year-old has bagged 25 goals in all competitions this year (Transfermarkt).
Kane cemented his status as a club legend when he became Tottenham’s all-time leading goalscorer earlier this year (GOAL).

However, it remains to be seen how much longer Kane will be with Spurs, as Manchester United (Daily Mirror) and Bayern Munich (Independent) continue to be linked with a move for the England captain.
Nevertheless, Kulusevski continues to be impressed by Kane’s loyalty to Spurs and the striker’s approach to the game.
He told Football.London: “Harry has absolutely exceeded my expectations. With the mentality, yesterday doesn’t matter.
“‘Today I have to do my work and come in and score my goals’.
“I really, really enjoy playing with him, a fantastic guy and a fantastic player.
“He’s staying true. You don’t see this in football much nowadays, one player sticking to one team for many years. You have to respect that absolutely.”

It must be brilliant for Kulusevski, or any Spurs player for that matter, to have someone like Kane in the team around them.
He’s a fantastic example to anyone in the game, and I’m sure it makes things easier on the pitch knowing Kane is around.
