After the shock news which broke this afternoon that Glenn Hoddle had been taken seriously ill, some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to wish our former player and manager a speedy recovery.
The Spurs legend collapsed on his 61st birthday, shortly after beginning his punditry duties on BT Sport.
As a result, the show’s BT Sport Score program which is hosted by Mark Pougatch said the show was cancelled.
Tottenham Hotspur also tweeted a message of support: “Everybody at the Club sends their best wishes to @GlennHoddle for a full and speedy recovery after he was taken ill this morning.”
As a player, Hoddle won the FA Cup and UEFA Cup with Tottenham and also had spells with Monaco, Swindon and Chelsea.
Here’s a selection of Tweets from your fellow Spurs fans.
