Heung Min Son implies that the atmosphere was not positive under Poch at the end

Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung Min Son has been on fire this season, particularly since Jose Mourinho took over as the new Spurs manager.

While Sonny performed highly under Pochettino before his sacking, he has implied that the positive energy was no longer there in the squad towards the end.

Under Mourinho, Son has started all three games, scoring one and assisting four more for his teammates (Transfer Markt).

This comes after Mourinho found a way to accommodate Son, Harry Kane, Dele Alli, and Lucas Moura in one team without playing any of them out of position.

Spurs have been feeling the full force of that too, scoring ten goals in just three games under the Special One, winning each and every one of them.

Son claims that everyone is now positive and smiling before games, claiming that this has changed since the new manager came in.

Perhaps it was Pochettino’s time to go after all.

Son said (Guardian): “He’s very kind. He’s smiling, making jokes with the players. I like it, of course. I think the results changed a lot, the positive vibe.

“Everyone is positive before games. The gaffer is doing a great job and we are really happy with him. The atmosphere changed a lot with the positive vibes.

“The lads, with positive energy, with smiling. I think this is the most important thing. I think this is what changed.”
